We had a fun day of soccer outside! It was so. beautiful. outside today. Kate has been practicing in the gym which is not as much fun and actually harder - so we were all excited. Dave was off early today so we had the whole family out to cheer her on!

She mostly ran around and kept up with the where the ball was. She's not aggressive and doesn't go after the ball. She did have a couple good kicks and liked being goalie. She blocked one (slow moving:) kick!

| She had her feet on the ball a little bit... |
Collin did pretty good. He was upset that he couldn't go on the field with her at first, but he really did stand and cheer her on. Loudly:) Towards the end, he was kicking her ball out onto the corner of the field. He was not happy when I would go get it. He kept yelling, "Bay-ball, bay-ball!" (everything is baseball right now) Another little brother was there and the two of them were pretty cute.

I don't even know if her team won:) I think so, but the one goal was while a ref was talking to the goalie, so that doesn't seem fair. I was surprised at how well the kids did. Last year, it felt like it was much more chaos, this time there was more positioning and proper out of bounds/kick and throw in stuff. Ugh, I do not know soccer. It might okay if she doesn't excel at this one, I'd really have to try and figure it out! We'll see....this season lasts through May.
love the pic of my godson in his sunnies :) Good job out there, Kate!
